WDP has been a major competitor in paintball since its beginning in 1996.  As of now WDP makes some of if not the best guns ever made.  They are extremely fast and very simple yet expensive to fix.

The WDP Angel 06 speed is the one of, if not the fastest, straightest shooting Angels ever made. This gun is capable of 31 bps and it is half a pound lighter than the 05 model.  The new 06 speed has the G7 internals making it much like its older brother the Angel G7.  The threads on the 06 have been changed from previous models to help take weight of off the gun so it is lighter and easier to carry.

The Angel G7 is the creation of nine years of Angels advancements and technical refinements to the paintball world. After being premiered at the San Diego NPPL event in November 2004, the G7 was fully revealed at the Huntington Beach Super 7 World Series Event  at the WDP booth. The G7 has kept the Angels historic beautiful form, and is in a tighter, more athletic package, but that is where most of the similarities end.
